
PRYOR, Oklahoma -The deadline to register to vote for the February 8, 2022 Mayes County elections is tomorrow, January 14, 2022. The February ballot will consist of 2 bond propositions (Locust Grove Public Schools and Adair Public Schools), plus county wide school board member seats, and the City of Pryor Ward 4 City Council seat. Many school board and council seats are running unopposed. To register to vote you must fill out a Voter Registration Application. You can fill out a Voter Registration Application using the OK Voter Portal "wizard." (Be sure to print, sign, and mail or hand-deliver the application to your County Election Board to complete the process.) Voter registration applications are also available at your County Election Board, most tag agencies, post offices, and libraries and can be downloaded from the State Election Board website.
You will be offered a Voter Registration Application when you apply, renew, or update your address on your driver's license or state ID and when you apply, renew, or update your address at some public assistance agencies. You must sign and date the oath printed on the form. When you sign the Voter Registration Application form, you swear that you are eligible to register to vote.
